TitleC-FARM - A Simple Model to Simulate Carbon Balance of Agricultural Soils
Project LeaderArmen Kemanian, Ph.D.
Activities
  1. A simple - one pool model of soil carbon cycling was developed and implemented in Visual Basic. The model requires minimum inputs and has not calibration requirements. C-FARM provides the evolution of soil carbon on an annual basis for each soil layer and for the entire profile. The user needs to input basic soil information, weather, a sequence of crops, tillage, operations, and irrigation practices.
