Activities
  1. Establishes a livestock market information system to provide market numbers, quality and prices of livestock in selected important markets. 
  2. Project has a Livestock Early Warning Component to provide early warning  of rangeland conditions through model assisted forecast for 30-90 day projected conditions (LEWS)  in nomadic areas of Kenya, Tanzania, and Ethiopia.
  3. Work with NGO's in the area to encourage livestock owners/herders to more good decisions as to stocking and destocking numbers as type of livestock during changing rangeland conditions.
