RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research is focused on the development of mathematical models for use in agricultural management. The models range from field scale (EPIC) to whole-farm, small watershed scale (APEX) and are useful in solving a variety of problems involving hydrology, erosion (wind and water), crop production, water quality, salinity, global climate change, etc. Comprehensive mechanistic models are required to obtain realistic solutions for problems involving complex natural systems.
